An ‘Ever-Evolving Demo’ For Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles Is Set To Release Today
Indie publisher Wired Productions and the one-man developer Tomas Sala have announced that their freeform city builder game, Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles, will have an “ever-evolving demo”, forgoing the traditional beta phase. This approach means that players will have a say in how the game develops as they give real-time feedback on the chilled-based builder.
Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles is a new story in The Falconeer series that takes a different approach to telling stories about the folks on the Great Ursee. Unlike traditional campaigns, this game is all about creativity and exploration. In the new video, Tomas is lifting the lid on his development and utilising his passionate community of gamers to help him craft his vision.
As you progress through Bulwark, you’ll get to build your own fortified settlements in the unforgiving landscapes of the Ursee without any restrictions. You can build on any rock, cliff, or mountain you find without a grid or planar restriction, which makes the gameplay experimental and unique. Meet and hire commanders and specialists that unlock new building options, units, and stories.
Tomas said of the game:
Putting out a new demo or game is always as anxious as it is exciting. I’ve put in a lot of effort to take in all the feedback and improvements suggested by players already. This new demo then is an evolving demo, as I’m aiming to continue that process. It will be updated as I continue development and serve as both a showcase and opportunity for players to be heard, I hope everyone enjoys what it has to offer.
