Physical Copies Of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition Releasing January 2023

As January enters the final few days, CD Projekt Red have one little surprise for us and that’s the appearance of physical editions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. What’s better is that players will be able to snag one of them in the next few days.

Set to release on 26th January in Europe, North America and other ‘select territories’, the latest version of Geralt’s adventures will include all of the previous DLC, the new missions based on the Netflix TV series, and the enhanced version of the game which released last month.

Originally released in 2015 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition is an open world RPG where players take control Geralt of Rivia, a monster slayer for hire known as a Witcher. The game starts with him searching for his adopted daughter, who is on the run from the otherworldly Wild Hunt. Players journey through the land is full of battles against mythical beasts and human nasties. Interacting with NPCs, Geralt will slowly unravel the mysteries of the land as well as what happened to his daughter in an epic game that has hundreds of hours of content.

Last month, CD Projekt released native PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X enhancements, which are free to anyone who owns the last gen versions. As well as updated graphics, the game introduced Performance and Ray Tracing modes, support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, faster loading times, and on PlayStation 5, advanced haptics and adaptive triggers of the DualSense controller.

With retailers starting to roll out their pricing, it is looking like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will sell for around £25.00. That’s not too bad considering the game is 7 years old. However, players can pick up a copy of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game for around £15.00 and use it to unlock the current-gen upgrade. That’s perfect for those who aren’t bothered by the stripe on the box. Of course, we understand and support those who want to buy the PS5 and Series X version too, we just like giving out all the options!
