Game of Thrones RPG gets a release date

The action-packed RPG Game of Thrones, based on the books and TV series, will be released in “early June” on PS3 and Xbox 360, distributor Koch Media has announced.

But of course there has already been a Game of Thrones spin off, named Genesis and developed by Cyanide – it shamefully flopped.

Perhaps this time it will be a tad better but going on the rushed outfit of this title possibly not? The rush is in anticipation of the new series being aired on TV.

George R.R. Martin, the author who a Game of Thrones is based upon, had “creative input” on the story which could be promising.

In the game, players can be either Mors or Alester and you level up through combat. Recognisable faces and places are presented throughout the game with the odd bit of political chat as you’d expect from the TV series.
