Primordials Legends: Hollow Hero Kickstarts The Combat Wombat Revolution

Full disclosure, we don’t normally cover Kickstarter campaigns, but when Toybox Games got in touch surrounding Primordials Legends: Hollow Hero, we were intrigued.

Primordials Legends: Hollow Hero currently in development for PC and hopefully consoles if the team can get enough funding through their Kickstarter campaign. The game is set to be a 3D adventure game that tells the tale of Brunt, an anthropomorphic wombat who is looking to leave her Hollow for the first time and adventure in a fantasy world known as Eridal.

Brunt, or the combat wombat as was pitched to us, heads out on a journey of discovery where she’ll platform and puzzle solve her way through the world to discover its secrets.

Hollow Hero is built on Unreal Engine 5 and is set to be the first in a series of short story games that focuses on an in-depth world, full of history to explore.

Of course with the game currently looking for funding, it’s much too early to talk about a solid release date, but our first impressions are positive. Toybox Games are a passionate bunch and remarkably upfront in telling perspective players that this is a short linear experience. However, Hollow Hero does aim to build a world full of interesting characters, with interesting puzzles to work through and a nice battle system.
