Session: Skate Sim Adds Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
In celebration of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem hitting cinemas this week, Paramount pictures (Nickelodeon) are teaming up with Creā-ture Studios and Nacon to bring the four heroes in a half-shell to Session: Skate Sim as a free update.
Session: Skate Sim was created to give gamers the opportunity to experience, or relive, what skating in the 1990s was like. The game is marketed for a more realistic approach than other games in the genre, with a twin stick setup representing each of the skater’s feet. It might be a strange approach to include four humanoid turtles into the game, but in our opinion nothing screams the 1990s like TMNT.
The trailer does manage to showcase that even though Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo are skating through the sewers of New York City, that the action won’t be as amped up as the TV series. The relaxing nature encourages you to enjoy the new surroundings while enjoying a slice of pizza (or other food stuffs).
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem update comes free to all Session: Skate Sim owners and is available now. Currently the game is sitting on over 9000 reviews on Steam alone with a Very Positive ranking and with such a dedicated fanbase since the game released last year, Creā-ture Studios is looking to bring a complete skateboarding experience to players. The studio is working on new updates and additional content which will arrive in the coming months which look set to test even the most hardcore skaters out there.
Session: Skate Sim is out now on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One
