Dawnguard Bethesda Studios have announced that after a long wait of nearly 18 months since the game was originally released, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be finally getting downloadable content for the PlayStation 3. Dragonborn, Hearthfire and Dawnguard will be seeing the light of day on Sony’s console after a year of issues regarding compatibility issues with the game.

Starting next month with Dragonborn and working backwards through the content, the faithful PlayStation gamers will be able to experience that which Xbox players have had for a while. Bethesda have also confirmed that for the first week of release, each title will be half price.

Dragonborn, Hearthfire and Dawnguard will release in February on the PlayStation Network. No confirmed dates have been set. There will also be a software 1.8 patch for the game – to presumably fix any issues the game was having with the console.
