Sonic Generations: Dreamcast Era!
As we know, Sonic Generations is coming 4th November for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS. SEGA have released a new trailer showcasing the levels that Sonic will be speeding through in what has been dubbed as the “Dreamcast Era.” Check inside to see what it’s all about.
The trailer gives the information that there are 3 eras of play. No word from SEGA as to what these are, however one can presume that since on is the “Dreamcast Era” we will have a “Mega Drive” and “Future” eras. It also shows the first look at Shadow the Hedgehog who will be making an appearance in the game.
Having had the chance to play the games at GAMEfest recently, I can confirm that SEGA have taken on board the feedback from the demo they released earlier in the year, the levels have shrunk in size and a few glitches have been removed.
Also, For those who shudder every time 3D and Sonic are used in the same sentence can be relieved. Sonic Generations gives modern Sonic what he has been aching for since the Dreamcast days – a glitch free, smooth running and FAST levels. This is done by making it play like Little Big Planet but turning the level 90 degrees so we see Sonic’s behind.
Sonic Generations will be out on 4th November.
