Ubisoft have announced the return of Splinter Cell and its iconic night vision goggles for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. The game is due for release in early 2013. Sam Fisher is back and this time he has been given the ultimate freedom to protect innocents against a series of global terror attacks known as Blacklist – the freedom to use limitless force, to break every law, and to become the globe’s deadliest operative. If he succeeds, the President of the United States will deny any information that Sam exists. If he fails, millions will die.
Splinter Cell Blacklist brings together weapons, gadgets and items from previous games with new updated versions to thwart the terrorist threats that are occurring all around the world. The game is also bring back fan-favorites like the sticky shocker, and for close quarters combat, players can wield the curved and brutal Karambit knife.
