Star Trek the video game Teaser Trailer

Namco Bandai have released the first look trailer for the Star Trek video game. The game will be based on next year’s Star Trek movie and will follow the exploits of Captain Kirk and Spock. The game will focus on co-operative play between the two lead characters as they try and thwart an unseen enemy.

Little more is known about the game as it could possibly be based on the up and coming film from JJ Abrams. The game will focus more on exploring the Star Trek universe rather than action, however there will still be some big explosions that can be seen just from the trailer itself. The likenesses will all be from the new film, with Kirk looking scarily like Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto as Spock. Star Trek will be releasing in 2013 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and will feature PlayStation Move controls.
