The upcoming survival horror title Retrieval has had a major update from 333 Studios with the Spanish-American developer showcasing what players can expect from the title when it releases for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

In Retrieval, players take the role of Hana Loshe a stranded commander who has become separated from her party on the planet Ryhalian. She finds herself in a mysterious base that has been ravaged and swarming with various nasties chasing her down. Due to the nature of the Retrieval trailer, we cannot embed it but if you click here you will be taken straight to the video. The trailer has been captured using in-game footage, which gives players a sense of how the game is shaping up. Unfortunately, there is no confirmed release date just yet.

This is the first game from 333 Studios, although they have partnered up with NVIDIA and PlayStation Studios Spain to help with the development of Retrieval. The survival horror game is available to wishlist on both the Steam and PlayStation stores, with the Xbox page set to go live shortly.

According to the developers;

Experience gripping gameplay, immersive storytelling, and rich character development as you unravel the mysteries of Retrieval. With its atmospheric visuals powered by NVIDIA and haunting 3D sound design, Retrieval promises an immersive gaming experience. Players will embark on this perilous journey with Hana Loshe and experience the intense drama and thrilling gameplay in this survival horror adventure that blurs the lines between cinema and gaming.

From the look of the trailer, Retrieval should be a survival horror to watch out for. While this is the first game from 333 Studios, it does look slick and full of good ideas. Hopefully, it won’t be too long of a wait until the next update.

Retrieval is coming soon to PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
