The Next Smash Bros Ultimate DLC Character Is Pyra & Mythra From Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Nintendo have announced that Xenoblade Chronicles is getting more representation in their brawler; Super Smash Bros Ultimate as they’ve announced Pyra will be their next fighter. She shares the slot with Mythra and they can be interchanged at any point during the battle.

Along with the announcement of another sword fighter, we’re also being treated to a host of support characters from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 who will help out as assist trophies. Take a look at the announcement trailer below.

Pyra/Mythra will be available as part of the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Challengers Pack 2 DLC at some point in March. As is tradition, we can expect a deep dive video from series producer, Masahiro Sakurai, as well as a look at the up and coming amiibo for the game shortly before release.
