The Season of Sizzle Comes to Splatoon 3

Splatoon 3 will be entering Sizzle Season 2024 in just a few weeks. From next month, players can earn goodies from a new catalogue including new weapons and gear. Gamers can also expect an all-new map for Turf Wars, and the curiously titled BIG Big Run.

Starting on 1st June the Turf Wars map, the new Lemuria Hub sees Splatoon 3‘s squid kids taking the battle to a railway station with moving platforms. It’s only proper that a new stage also comes with new weapons and in the trailer we’ve embedded below, we have The Wellstring V, a long-range Stringer, and the Mint Decavitator, a close-range Splatana.

Rounding out the announcement is the news that the Sizzle Season will bring BIG Big Run challenges. These pits squads of Inklings and Octolings against a Triumvirate, a creature that throws three huge Big Run bosses at players. The Attack of the Triumvirate mode is scheduled to launch alongside Splatoon 3‘s Sizzle Season from 1st June.
