Vita Passport Not Clearing Customs With Developers
Sony have confirmed that three main developers will miss the launch of he PlayStation Vita’s passport service. Capcom, Namco Bandai and Square-Enix games will not be available for the system’s launch in Japan. This means that out of the 600+ PSP games available, less than 250 will be portable to the Vita.
Of course this is only from a launch perspective. The developers could well sign up for the service down the line. The passport service allows users to download their PSP games and save data for a small fee onto the new handheld. the console will launch on 17 December in Japan and 22 February in the UK.
