Zombie Apocalypse 2 Confirmed for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network

Konami have now announced that Zombie Apocalypse 2 is in development and will be released as a downloadable game for the Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network in the very near future. Zombie Apocalypse 2 is a direct sequel to Zombie Apocalypse and our four heroes must survive the zombie uprising. The quartet is stranded on a remote island which is under siege from an army of the dead.

Our team must secure the island and try to restore normality and balance to their lives and surroundings, but with the levels of zombies on the loose this will be a challenge. The undead attack is from all directions, so both controls sticks will need to be used to try and combat the rotting ex-humans from a 360 degree onslaught. With new class-based systems and an increased arsenal the title is set to have some amazing reanimated corpse death.

Zombie Apocalypse 2 is set for release in Q4 2011.
