The House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut Announced
Sega Europe today announced that the B movie classic, turned videogame, The House of the Dead is going to be making it’s first leap into high definition with Sega’s The House of the Dead: OVERKILL – Extended Cut. This revised edition of the game will be made available on the PlayStation Move only.
Warlords Character Art Released
Atari Europe today released the concept art from it’s up and coming game, Warlords, which is a remake of an Atari 2600 title and will make it’s début on the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network in the summer. Warlords will also make it’s début at the MCM Expo this weekend where Atari will be showcasing this title and Dungeons and Dragons Daggerdale at the Atari stand for all to see.
Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 Release Date Confirmed
Temco Koei Europe today confirmed the release date for their latest PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 will be released in the UK on the 1st July 2011. Set in the future, chaotic warfare has engulfed the universe. The world is ripe with strife as gigantic mecha called Mobile Suits march to war on land and in space.
Starhawk Announced on the PlayStation 3
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today announced a new title will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3, developed by LightBox Interactive in partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios, titled Starhawk. This fast paced, third-person shooter is set in the unruly frontier of space and allows players to instantly alter the battlefield by calling down defensive and attacking structures in realtime from an orbiting drop ship. This whilst blasting away enemies in single or multiplayer mode makes for an interesting experience.
Star Raiders Makes a Return on the Xbox 360
Atari Europe today announced the release of Star Raiders on the Xbox 360 for the Xbox Live. The return of Star Raiders combines aerial assaults and dogfights with a new storyline and visual style that will allow gamers who remember the 1979 classic to feel absorbed but also as if they are playing a new game.
SEGA Announce Sale on Xbox Live Arcade Games
Sega Europe today announced that to celebrate the Xbox Nations event they will be discounting all of the Xbox Live Arcade games by as much as 50%! That’s 18 Sega games ranging from the Mega Drive all the way through to the DreamCast for a significant discount on the Xbox only.

Final Fantasy V Confirmed for the PSN
Square Enix Europe today announced that the classic, Final Fantasy V will be made available on the PlayStation Network as part of their PSOne Classic range. As this is the PSOne version of the game, it will h ave full FMV cutscenes and will also feature the classic FF combat using Active Time Battle system.
Square also confirmed that the title is playable on both the PS3 and he PSP. At the present time there is no penned release date, but it is confirmed that it will exist in the coming future.
There’s an expansive and intricate storyline for Final Fantasy V which involves the world’s wind currents stopping, Wind Crystals shattering and young adventurers the world over trying to fix the problems. With FMV cutscenes and Chocobo’s in abundance this title is a must for any Final Fantasy fan’s digital collection.

Xenoblade Chronicles Confirmed for Europe
Nintendo Europe today confirmed that the epic RPG Xenoblade Chronicles will be released in Europe for the Nintendo Wii. The title is already available in Japan and centres around two worlds called Bionis and Mechonis which are warring with no end in sight.
Xenoblade Chronicles is slated for a 2011 release only; however, it has been confirmed that there will be the option to have either Japanese or English voice overs with an English subs option. For those bi-lingual readeres out there there’s also French, Italian, German and Spanish subtitles but no dubs.
